OK, I think I'm starting to understand. I still have a few simple points. There should be something in the introduction about when it was first published. Was it Gandhi's practice to write in English? Were any of these works originally in Hindi or Gujarati? Do you have any intention of adding the English version of Ghandi's commentary? Perhaps the English article title mighr be more suitably Commentary on Ruskin's "Unto This Last" with a suitable translation for the French. We shouldn't need Gandhi's name in the title. The text claims that an American assassinated President Cleveland, but Cleveland was not assassinated. Eclecticology 08:44, 1 Dec 2003 (UTC)
- I put my commentaries about this work on Wikisources. The original was in Gujarati and I think that there was a translation by Gandhi himself. I don't know when this translation was first published (I think around 1905). My copy is a English translation by VALJI GOVINDJI DESAI and is copyrighted by Navajivan Trust 1956. I translated both from the English and the Gujarati and I got permission from Navajivan Trust to publish it. It is available at http://www.forget-me.net/en/Gandhi/ (PDF, LaTeX and plain text). Auteur de la traduction modifier
Jusqu'à présent, je suis le seul auteur de la traduction. Toute correction est néanmoins bienvenue, mais il me semble ridicule de prétendre que la traduction est uniquement l’œuvre de Wikisource. Et comme mentionné ci-dessus, ce texte est publié ici car il a été rédigé dans le cadre d'un mémoire de maîtrise. Yann 16 août 2006 à 18:48 (UTC)
